THE MOST EXTRAORDINARY HORSE RACES ALL OVER THE WORLD (TO BE CONTINUED)

Horse racing is one of the most favorite sports which is appealing to more and more people nowadays. 

However, there are extreme extraordinary horse races that will shock your mind. 

 

1, Pony horse races in England:

This tournament is called Shetland Pony Race which took place in Plumpton racecourse, East Sussex (England) on the 22nd, October 2012. Shetland pony with the height of under 1m is well reputed for its immense strength despite the small size. It is often used for pulling heavy goods vehicles in different mines throughout the Industrial Revolution. 

 

2, Man-made horse race:

This is a race which imitates the Grand National horse race in England being held yearly in Birmingham city centre. In this race, players mount on stuff horses then try to escape obstacles along the racecourse to finish the ride. This seems to be a ridiculous ride, however, has attracted many participants as to the prize and become a distinct traditional game in there.

 

3, Chase-and-kiss horse race:

Kyz kuu or kyz kuumal (in Kyrgyz language it means “chase after a girl”) is a traditional game in Kyrgyz and Kazakh. It also has another name which is ”kissing game”. To take part in this extraordinary race, there should be at least 2 people riding on horse’s back: one is a man and the other is a woman. Playing role is quite simple. Man jockey stands in the starting line. Woman jockey must stand away from him in a certain distance. 

The game gets started when the women begins to ride as fast as possible and the man jockey needs to spur on her. Both ride full speed towards the goal. If the man jockey finish his race before the women, then he has the right to kiss her as a reward.
